My name is Olivia Price-Bates. I’m a 30-something English teacher from London living in Calabria, on the toe of Italy’s boot, with my husband and two very small but very noisy children. I’ve been working in ELT since 2009 and am the Academic Director of an AISLi accredited private language school.
This website has been designed as a way to document my exploration into ELT, and also to provide ideas and resources to other teachers. I think the most important way to develop as a teacher is to constantly reflect on your own practice as well as to read up on other people’s observations and lessons learned. So this is my way of reflecting on what I have learned so far. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
